South Africa: Ekurhuleni flood victims get aid packages

A spokesperson for the Ekurhuleni Municipality says more than 50 displaced families received food and other aid from a private-public charity project in the area. Charity organisation 1in1out and the municipality gave the Palm Ridge families perishables, clothing and school stationery, said spokesperson Zweli Dlamini. Local councillor Mbuyiseni Zulu said the partnership was "a clear indication of the importance of collective responsibility on issues affecting the people." Zulu attended the handover on Friday with 1in1out. . .
